Morning folks ,
Thanks to all those who attended the forward planning meeting last night.Steve, Paul, Jon, Forest , Edmund, Cheryl, Cat Trev, Laine, Suzi, Tim, Bear, Davina, Pat , Bill and Ian.
We received apologies from Tiggy, Sylvia, Diane, Marion, Tatia and Karen.
Funds are..Honey money £156
Moot float…£61.30
We pay £40 to hire the RNA each month.
Honey distribution: As the normal method of honey distribution has not been possible due to Covid restrictions, for January, February and March Moots, we will be handing a jar of honey to each person that attends (only one per person, not one per moot) After that the surplus will be sold.
WEBSITE
Ian has offered to get the PL website up and running. We will copy across info on the FB page. Also include a sales page for those of our members who would like to offers the crafts and arts for sale.
SPEAKERS FOR THE MOOT:John Worland has offered to revisit us , either Sept or October.
Steve has a couple of people to contact and will let us know.
Tim has a talk brewing although its not quite ready yet. (Dogs and the Dead)
Suzi has offered to lead a Drumming circle for the February Moot
Cheryl has a script regarding the infamous Cunning Murrell (not sure of spelling) I will present that to you.
MOOT ROOMThere was some discussion as to which room to use at the RNA for the Moot. Those with hearing difficulties, find the acoustics in the larger room, detrimental to the quality of sound and so are unable to enjoy the speakers.Others find the smaller room too warm and lacking in air flow.I will put up a Poll to garner opinion as to which room to use.It may be that we will use both perhaps the larger room for the warmer months and those with hearing difficulties can move closer to the speaker?
